The Tritons

Attendance: Dragon, Azarra, Whitecat, Baggles

We leave dungeon and travel to Tunisia on foot. We bought special amulets that give us underwater breathing capabilities as well as pressure protection. We also buy a ship for 1000 gold and sail out to where the star is on the map. We pay the ship’s captain 3000 gold to wait on the surface for us, and we dive under the water.

 

After diving for a while, we encounter 8 tritons. They pull out nets and appear to try catching us as they approach. Two tritons attack Azarra and severely injure her left shoulder. They use nets to try catching Dragon. Meanwhile, Baggles attacks and misses. Whitecat attacks and also misses. Baggles and Whitecat use their sonic weapon against the Tritons and hurt one of the Tritons.

The tritons put a net around Baggles and Whitecat. Azarra stabs one of the Tritons in the abdomen and knocks them unconscious. Dragon is netted by the Tritons. Azarra kills a second triton by stabbing it in the stomach. They net the rest of us and club us unconscious. We wake up on shore, fully healed with notes tied to us. We read the note, which states, “You are not welcome, outsiders aren’t welcome. We are the protectors.”

We go back to town and buy an amulet to allow us to speak with the tritons. Dragon trains to become a sea dragon, which takes two months. We buy armor and all train in swim skills.
