The Lower Dungeon

Attendance: Dragon, Azzara, Whitecat, Baggles, Qualin.

We enter the lower level of the dungeon and it is even hotter than the last dungeon. This dungeon has stalagmites and stalagtites. Dragon, Azarra and Baggles are hindered by the heat (low fire resistance rolls).

Dragon flies ahead and we follow. Azarra gets the feeling that someone is watching her from the right (she senses the feeling from the circle in the picture below). We charge through the dungeon and find nothing except faint levels of magic throughout. We continue to wander aimlessly for 30+ minutes (earth time).

We finally encounter 4 minotaurs:

Battlefield:

Azarra shoots two arrows but the minotaurs easily dodge them. One Minotaur attacks Baggles and gores his left shoulder giving him 6 points of damage. Another minotaur attacks Azarra and does 4 damage to her left thigh. A minotaur tries to attack Qualin, but falls down along the way (due to a fumble roll). Qualin immediately attacks the fallen minotaur and impales him, completely paralyzing him.

Baggles attacks the minotaur that hurt him and successfully kills him. Azarra attacks and does minor damage despite a direct hit. Dragon successfully breathes fire on the minotaur.

Baggles is attacked and the minotaur impales his forearm. Baggles screams in pain and drops his axe (see fallen axe in picture below). Qualin attacks a minotaur and hits him in the thigh. The minotaur attacks Qualin and does 11 points of damage. 

Qualin uses her magical ring to absorb the damage.

Azarra hits the minotaur, which was attacking Qualin, in his right thigh with an acid arrow. Dragon breathes on that same minotaur which knocks him unconscious. Qualin goes to the other minotaur (Battle V) to attack. The minotaur attacks her and does 4 points of damage to her right leg.

Baggles fumbles and hits himself in the shoulder with his second weapon. Azarra hits the last minotaur in the thigh doing 7 points of damage. He is in pain, but not seriously injured. Dragon attacks that same minotaur and bites him in the neck, ripping out his trachea.

After finishing the battle, Whitecat joins us and heals Baggles. Azarra uses reattach limb and heals Qualin. We find a magical axe on one of the minotaurs and Baggles uses one to replace his own.

We see wooden chests, the remains of an animal and a fire where the minotaur were making camp. Azarra does not detect any trap and Whitecat opens one of the chests (rectangularish black objects represent chests. The red splotch is a fire and the dumbell-looking item is the animal remains).

We find a map, a very powerful ring and other miscellaneous supplies. We begin walking towards the circle on the map and encounter a wall which is not on the map. Azarra tries to detect magic on the wall and finds that it is an illusion. We walk through it and it disappears.

We decide to make camp and replenish our mana (see circle and arrow in picture below). Whitecat builds a stone wall sealing off a room and we sleep without disturbances ready to continue our quest!
