The group continues along and begins to cross plain. They meet a Kobold group. They kill the Kobold and find 20 gold and three resist magic amulets (gives them + 6 to resist magic).
The group continues to Amnicola. They meet travelers along the way looking
ravaged, begging for food. They also see soldier troops marching in packs of 40 plate mail soldiers.
They find Thornstar, the friend of the mage, in the town library in Anmicola. He tells them of the
passage into Thromberg from outside city walls. Gives them details of tunnel:
1/8 mile north of Thromberg’s castle, there is pattern of three trees. The
middle one is huge and will have secret entrance. Thornstar enchants their weapons with magic damage
(equivalent to acid damage + 1d6).
The group travels towards Thronberg and gets escorted out of the area by groups of soldiers. They sneak back in and find the passage and enter the dungeon.
