Attendance: Dad, Lutie, Nick, Albert, Jason, Samuel, Trevor
The group continues to Varav. They come to a campsite with a dragon skeleton. Lutie takes a horn from the remains. The dragon immediately comes to life and demands the horn back. Lutie drops it and runs. The dragon breathes fires towards the group, then grabs his horn and flies off towards the east.
The group arrives in Varav, resupplies and buys some sulfuric acid (10 flasks).
After visiting the mage guild, they continue on towards Leping. The first night the group is attacked by a band of high level mercenaries.
The mercenaries include a small flute player which puts two of the group members to sleep. During the battle, the axeman kills Samuel by smashing in his face. Nick charms the mace/crossbow guy, but the battles rages on. When only the mace/crossbow guy is left alive, the fighting finally ends. He tells them that the mage guild are the real enemies and a threat to the empire. The powerful mage hiding out in the caves is trying to overthrow the corrupt mage guild and protect the empire. The group does not know what to do and decide to continue towards Leping to further investigate which side is really the "good" side. Since Samuel died, he can take over the character that they charmed and now is a pretty decent fighter with both a cross box and a mace.

Two sets of chain mail. One being charmed, having additional magic shield of 2 points. One set of chain mail includes the helmet and foot coverings of plate mail.
